I could sit and watch Yuen Bao all day
Seriously. Just seeing a human body perform at that level of flawless acrobatics in martial arts is a fucking joy to watch
For those of you unfamiliar, he's the one in the blue jeans and turtleneck starting in at ~ 1:04. (And yes, the cigar smoking mofo is Fung Sam from The Iceman Cometh) He's one of the most underrated martial arts movie stars ever, IMO. I love him to bits :D
And no, he's doesn't use wires. He's just that good :D

you've hit on one of my other serious passions :) fandoms. whatever. someday I'm going to put together a dvd for my friends, containing the greatest and worst jackie chan movies ever made. the greatest is of course Legend of Drunken Master. The worst?
Fantasy Mission Force.
Do yourself a favor. Bring some friends over. Get everybody drinking and giggling. And watch it.
It won't make any fucking sense.
It doesn't need to.
It is so bad, it's awesome.

I have no desire to watch Fantasy Mission force again. Although Seven Lucky Stars was pretty bleh as well. The scene in the first one is from Dragons Forever - Jackie, Yuen and Samo! Long been a fave of
Have you ever seen Hero from beyond the boundary of time? Most people tend to pan it, but I love my cheese, so it's firmly embedded in my DVD collection...

I bought a copy of...damn what is it...the one where Jackie crossdresses as Chun Li. Still haven't watched it yet, other than that one clip I saw on youtube.
I have also not seen Hero from beyond... I love my cheese too :) Big B-movie fan. John Carpenter, Sam Raimi (of course). I'm starting in on Ed Wood, we'll see if I can add him to my list of enjoyed crappy movie directors.
Also a Kurosawa fan, but that's a whole different ballgame.
