Busy busy busy

mmm-mmm.

- got the tax done at the accountant, Hit bunnings with [livejournal.com profile] torasin's mum, built a new solar-powered bike shed, built a new garage wall, cut down the wood for the new entertainment unit, made a new greenhouse, finished off barking around the compost bins, planted out another bunch of seedlings and got started on the tomatos, leeks, rocket and basil (well, [livejournal.com profile] torasin planted his basil, but it was ME who got up the compost, mesh-screened the dirt, sterilised and filled the pots and made the new greenhouse :) and generally did a shitload of yard-y things.

Then topped it off by making over a dozen pies :D

Result!

Jesus Christ...and I thought i'd been busy when i put all the washing away, refilled the new ( to me) fridge freezer and gutted behind the old cooker ready for the new ( to me) cooker to be installed.

YAY matos!!

... I'm getting tired just reading that. But it's good that someone gets something done (because I don't) :P

Bloody hell woman! I'm tired at the thought of it all. I'm envious of the leeks - I love leeks, but we can never get them quite fresh enough.

Did most of it Sunday - Saturday was just the tax, bunnings run and some of the shed (mostly gleeful demolition of the rotted parts)

I'd offer to post some leeks...but given your postal office, I'd be better off sending you a pile of seeds in some dirt :P

(They should be nice and ready to harvest by the time you get them, yes?)

You're not kidding. My brother, the one who lives 8 miles away, posted me a birthday card. It took a detour for almost a week and was sorted in Leeds, 215 miles away. Something to do with a postal strike at his end that lasted a couple of hours.

I love leeks - just made leek and potato soup. Yum.
