....

Have you ever tried to give eight rats ivomectin? When the best way of delivery is mixed with some nutrigel, one rat at a time, at the end of playtime, and put each rat back in the cage when done? When you have Moe trying to piss off with the nutrigel pack, rats clawing up your back, up your front, around your sides, in and out of your tshirt, bruxing, grabbing, snatching, desperately demanding their dose NOW NOW NOW?

Thank fuck it's only once a week. *orders kevlar shirt* I look like I got into a fight with Eleanor Abernathy

Ayyyyep. Although isn't Ivermec the one you spot behind their ears? I've given Baytril and Synulox tho, to a big group. *whines about her savaged hands* :(

Similar, but not quite ivermec - this is ivomectin, AU variant, that's delivered orally once a week for four weeks. .15ml per rat.

Added fun: Pinky is on baytril and vibravet for her chortle-snuffling self at the moment, and was terribly confused by the fact EVERYONE got to lick the spoon last night, not just her.

(She and Thumper are fucking crazy, I swear. Thumper had the wet nose, the snuffs, sneezes, the whole kit and kaboodle for early-stage myco. We put her on the meds, didn't make a dint. Lung sounds are clear tests are clear - the vet reckons she most likely just has a snout perpetually full of snot. Pinky has horrible chest-deep chortle noises, rumbles, and then commits to a full blown sneeze..not a single hint of porphyrin, no behaviour changes, no breathing issues - none of the symptoms we've seen many many times in the past with other rats. I deeply suspect they're being atypical just to fuck with us.)
