Idiosyncrasies, idiosyncrasies...

As most rat owners will tell you, rats will eat just about anything, several times.

Beans and Shola dislike red meat. They will not even sample it (but boy do they love ham) Beans also has a shocking self control when it comes to treats and will stop after just one. This is mind-bogglingly insane behaviour on both counts.

Missy has marked loved of cranberry juice. Most ratties love it, but only if it's licked off a finger (presumably to cut the admittedly strong afterbite it leaves) Missy on the other hand will happily help herself to the glass and have it neat She also does not like macadamia nuts.

Paggles will on occasion eat Wild Berry puffs, but much prefers Sammy noodle puffs. She will also go insane for macadamia nuts (she gets half a shelled one a day) and will completely flip her shit for uncooked fusilli. Pinky and Shola however, need to be in a mood for pasta and nuts.

A string of cooked 2min beef noodles is always eagerly welcomed on a cold morning.

Penfold and Shola like to groom eyebrows. Muse has a fascination with human ears. Pinky likes to be as high as possible. Paggles likes the pillows on the bed arranged just so, so there is a nook for her to clamber into and snag unwary passersby from (she also likes sleeping behind the rice bubble storage jar). Mo' obsessively gathers every carrot piece she can get her hands on from any location and piles them up under the ground floor water bottle...whereupon she promptly ignores them. Thumper loves to destroy cardboard. Beans burrows into full tissue boxes and sleeps in the wash bowl. And Missy loves to sneak up and casually snuggle down beside a restive human.

Baskets of washing to be put away are invariably filled with PEWs.

Keeping track of everyone's likes and dislikes is a full time job in and of itself :D
