Mmm. Swap meet

They are evil things, swap meets. Oh so evil.

Especially when they don't have my A-phones >.<

But I snagged a couple of new 500gb SATA drives for Enigma (:D) and a few other bits and bobs that I needed, plus mum's Christmas present. The woman has the technological ability of a ferret, so I'm configuring a media player I can plug into her TV, hand her the remote and say "Enjoy". Loading it up with all her old TV shows you can't get on DVD down here yet - Starman, Alien Nation, V (original series), etc...pretty much just be peeling the old 250gb SATA drive that has sci fi on it in Enigma (being replaced with one of the new 500gb drives) and stuffing that in there. It also has a USB interface, so we can put new stuff on it - I know she misses out on the freelance trading that goes on between her daughters :P

Now to find a USB key that's big/distinctive enough so that she won't lose it....

So I've got the 250 gb slammed in a caddy while I copy my sci fi off it. And the end of the drive is jutting out, as they do

Finally settled down and watched Waters of Mars - I'd actually downloaded it when it came out, but between the big network cutover, and wanting to watch it with torasin, hadn't had time to sit down and peep until tonight.
