So....

It started because I bought a 20 sheet CD/DVD folder. Really.

I found it useful to store the burned DVD backups of everything I have on Enigma. All my tv shows, all neatly packed away in the event of Catastrophic Hard Disk Failure (Known in the business as "OFUCK"). It had binding rings, I could shuffle stuff back and forth. I was happy.

However, as I'm an anal alphabetical little snot, I found myself shifting disks inside their sleeves as more and more shows popped up. And Doctor who, well, that lived in its own 8 disk sleeve and shunted back and forth.

And that was just the Petey eps.

Soon however, it became apparent that DW would need a special folder of its own. And, given the history and sheer number of eps, quite a large one. So I purchased one.

Problem: The pages are fixed, so I cannot shift loaded pages.

Obviously this was unsuitable as my collection at the time pottled through Hartnell/Troughton/some TBaker then my beloved Petey. And I would be forever shuffling disks as I added episodes and therefore increasing the probability of scratches, thus rendering the whole thing moot.

Solution: Download every single fucking episode to fill in the space until Petey could go in his permanent home.

This, I accomplished last week.

Then I was faced with the issue of scattered McCoys and then the Ecclestons through to Tennants. More downloading, culminating in Delta and the Bannermen this morning.

.....I now have the WHOOOOOOOLE FREAKING SHEBANG, BABY. Unearthly Child right through to End of Time, including the CIN specials and other tributaries.

THIS IS WHAT OCD GETS YOU, PEOPLE. A FRIGGIN' AWESOME COLLECTION OF EPS.

(and my folders are now TV shows, Sci Fi, Animated shows, Documentaries, and a box of movies. Plus my Who :D )
