There's been much wanking and fuffing on the second season of doctor who. So I'm tossing my hat in. I'm feeling cocky. I called it right on The Doctor Dances, I called it damned close on what the Bad Wolf was, I called it on RTD's fucking about with John Barrowman and Torchwood, so I'm going for the season finale of S2.
Ok. Now gathering the information.
1) Episode will be called "The Army of ghosts"
4) Will feature the cybermen
3) Will have an appearence by Shaun Dingwall (Rose's father in Fathers Day)
4) Will have an appearence by the Daleks
5) Will feature an "apocalyptic" battle between the Cybermen and the Daleks.
Now. Cue the exploding wank. Theories explode, how will the daleks come back! what does the title mean! OMFG HOW CAN THEY HAVE BACK ROSES DAD HE'S DEAD! HOW CAN THEY FIGHT?

Ok people. Let me educate you to a little thing called Occams Razor.
To wit: Given two equally predictive theories, choose the simpler.
or: The simplest answer is usually correct.
So, if we take the leaked info as true:
The story is called THE ARMY OF GHOSTS. Are y'all still with me?
Now given that it's called Army of Ghosts, and that it will be featuring the return of Shaun Dingwell...
Now this may sound crazy and wild, but what if it literally IS an army of ghosts? Explains why he's in it, and it explains the Daleks. If something is bringing back 'ghosts', or even psychomorphic projections based on strong memories, then it explains both being there. Ghosts of the past.
Of course if you have the Cybermen in the mix, it's easy to imagine a scene where when trying to fight them the Doctor and/or Rose ends up leading them into a room where there's an assload of "ghost" daleks waiting or somesuch.
And I shall sit down with my poppedcorn and much merrily as all hell breaks loose
So that's my theory, now to wait until next year to see if I'm right or not :P
