I agree with you; there were things I liked and things I really disliked.
Liked: Power-ranger Daleks. WOULD YOU LIKE A CUP OF TEEEEAAAA? The jammy dodger. Breaking the blackout. The plot. Amy's understanding of humanity being better than the Doctor's.
I didn't like that she saved the day twice in a row, but I do think this is a necessary part of Amy. This Doctor, I think, is a "split up and do your part" kind of strategist, and Amy is proving that she can do her part, which is important. However, twice in a row was a little OTT.
Dislike: OTT Amy saving the day. Churchill's characterisation. THE CRACK. OKAY, MOFF, WE GET THAT THERE'S A CRACK. IT WAS MYSTERIOUS FOR TWO EPISODES, NOW IT'S GETTING ANNOYING. TRY FOR SOME SUBTLETY. For some reason, though the plot was awesome, it was kind of... boring.
