Finally got all the salvagable stuff off, so now we’re left with an almighty pile of shite to toss out.

Oh yeah, that’s a good playing surface.

Thankfully we also picked this up on hard rubbish, so this will form the new table base ^_^ (The water stained bit will be a cut-off, it’s far wider than we need it to be)

Fortunately the rails and supports are in good structural nick, and can easily be restored

And so are the cushions (they’re actually better condition than they look here, there’s no rotting or crapping out, that’s just felt dust and snail turds I need to clean off ‘em)
So! Outdoor felt will cost us $70 brand new, $30 for pockets, and everything else (tools, time, talent!) we already have. Got a power sander to clean back the rails, got leftover stain from when we did the bbq/halloween stuff, and that lovely huge chunk of MDF was snagged free on hard rubbish :D (It’s not slate, but it’s smooth, playable, and a good coat of primer + PVC glue will seal and waterproof it) Then legs (We’re currently thinking bannisters for the legs, nicely ornate and easy to get at Bunnings) and levelling feet (Again, bunnings) and we are there, baby!
I took these pics because it’s really going to look good when we’re done with it...and they’re proof of How Damned Good we are when you see the finished product :D
