Well, my boss is a tosser.
But we all know this.
Got my payslip for this week - I'm missing an entire day (9 hours) worth of pay off it. For some faffling reason which we're sorting out right now. Paycheque is a little lower than I would like, but on the other hand seeing as I'll be paid seperately for that extra day, it means it won't be counted in the tax for the paycheque today, so less tax = more money in my pocket and less in the governments :) It's all good.
Unfortunately I also have gas bill and phone bills arriving to be dealt with this pay, and the rent, so I'll just sniffle and wave farewell as the dollar bills fly away.
With a bit o' luck, next week/week after I'll be able to go snaffle the parts I want for m00f - every time I do a price check with Panda the prices on the parts i want are dropping, so *gabe glee*
Then I can start getting Meshuggah (domain hoster) up and running. Still need to do a little physical work on her - just the circuit modifications on the removable racks, and she's all good to go. Then comes the fun part of setting up apache and registering the domain names. And the port forwarding on the router. And the loading of the pages, creation of user logins for various peeps, the notifications on final refuge that the URL is changing entirely, and designating the spaces on the hard disks...
(Yeah, I can't friggin' WAIT!)
Plus the formatting and reinstall of everything on m00f. Mental note: dump everything onto fileserver. Still, although m00f's not exactly a slouch, I will admit I'm drooling a bit over the proposed upgrade. Should cut down on that annoying small lag I get when making mvids in premiere.
madscot my tape came today! Well, I was asleep, but jac tossed it on my chair for when I got up! Much squealing and joy! *squee*squee* I'll be sending the first season of you-know-what back in return a little later this week :) Can't wait to get home and start watching ^_^
