I cracked up at the end..the EARTH SHATTERING REALISATION that people are just plain fucked up. Oh dear. Oh deary me. Poor little gwen. 'cos lord knows if she'd stayed a cop she would never have seen dead people, or people killing each other because they're nuts, or punching the shit out of each other 'cos drink, or a battered housewife, or a beaten baby....nonono. On a somewhat related subject, what's with the new series of Doctor Who being almost exclusively set on Earth, and focused on Earthicans? I'm getting really sick of it.. Where are the planets full of cat-men? Where are the dead spaceships full of insects? In this context a spin-off set on earth is kinda useless..
