(Black line is actually fine gravel mix I've put into a particularly deep concrete seam to retard weeds. Will dry up shortly)

Next time I do washing, I'll use the runoff to scrub the lichen off the concrete, then treat it. But anyrate, now we have a lovely place to sit and sip our drinks like the yuppy DINKS we are :)



Gravel: Free (Have a couple mates that just had their house built)
Paint: Free (Leftover from painting Meshy)
Brush fencing: $15 from Reject shop
Plants: $15
5 22l bags of mulch at $4 each: $20

It looks great. It definitely looked to have to a lot to potential. Luckily, summer is coming up and it will be a great space to have and hang out in.

And it doesn't look like goth grass. More like emo grass. XP

It's actually african grass :) Mondo Black Grass. Grows bloody anywhere and doesn't care as long as you chuck a bucket of water at it every so often :D
