Ok, the base coat is done on the angel, the skulls have been misted to look suitably beat up, and the tombstones (and now skulls) have been waterproofed. AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, GO ME! :D





It's coming out a bit plasticky for my tastes, and damned that metal primer tastes nasty when a crosswind blows it down your throat. I'll mist it over with flat black to cut the shine, then dry brush the fine details over it to break up the eyelines.



The stain came out a bit more....orange than we wanted on the coffin...So I went over it with a black spray can :D The lines will be exaggerated when torasin goes over it with the darker Aged Teak stain, so we should have a suitably battered looking old coffin to line on Sunday.


And I realised I'd never put up a pic of the finished celtic cross. Enjoy.

That angel is so exact, I did a blinking double-take when I saw the picture.

Then I realized I blinked, so I screamed and held my eyelids open for about 10 minutes until my little sister slapped me back to reality.
