In other news: MAH FRKIN' CABLES FINALLY CAME. So I spent most of yesterday powering down and tearing m00f out of her n00k and redoing all the cable runs. New KVM between m00f and Meshy, and no longer shall I fish and plug cables in and out - permanent secured runs into an iPod dock, an iPhone dock, a mains-powered link for iDevices, and a permanent mini-DIN (for my camera, portable hdds, ebook, etc)
Oh yeah. Shit be sorted. Plus I finally actually got to clean my office, which I'd left off as I was going to rewire my desk anyway, which meant reams of shit being moved about. (For those of you unaware: my main desk is a huge brilliant shebeast of a corner unit, with four CD/DVD racks on top of it, a bookcase underneath, a shelving unit and a filing cabinet, as well as a full tower case)
*swishes about* oh yeah. Once more at the head of my evil empire in style *pokes beanie frogs*
Also been having random fits of cleaning. Bathroom's been scrubbed to an inch of its life, kitchen's been sorted, man room is continually being harassed and the ratties are all snouts a-quiver at the exciting goings on. torasin leaves me a cup of tea while I snore. Once (usually) reheated, a portion of this goes into the rattie tea-bowl and they gather around with appreciative whiskers and happily warming paws while mummy sips her sadly depleted cup)
Ten days to go. Fn0rd. Rehearsal this weekend, and a half-assed drunken hens playing pool night (or something along those lines) and then everyone can fuckoff and lemme alone *nods*
